Festival One is multi-day, christian festival on Auckland & Waikato Anniversary weekend that has a broad range of fantastic artists, lots of opportunities for the creative arts and a few other surprises. The goal of the festival is to create community in the church through music, art and culture; this festival aims to achieve this through organic growth, an annually progressing teaching curriculum and outstanding music and arts.

Over the years, we have had a small group from our church attend the festival; however for the upcoming festival in 2023,  we wanted to take a small step to making the most of the opportunity to connect those attending from the Calvary churches around the country. In 2023, we are going to have a Calvary New Zealand campsite at Festival One, with a heart to connect with each other from different churches around the country while enjoying the festival together. For our designated campsite, we will make simple plans to have some sort of communal facilities like a common gazebo and BBQ; again, starting small with the hope and prayer that this could develop into a big group as the years go on.
